Mindlessly reciting these words as a rote prayer or mantra is not what Jesus has in mind when he taught the disciples how to pray. Prayer is a conversation with a relational God (see Jonah 4 as he "prays" to God about his complaints of all things). Countless prayer methods or techniques have been created using the Lord's Prayer, but here is one from taught by Korean church. In Korea, they teach believers to pray each step of the six steps for 10 minutes for a grand total of one full hour)
