Theology 'on Mission'

Beth is still working through residency slowly...
but I've finished the Spring semester!  This will give me a little more free time to have some fun with my son  (see above).  However, this summer won't be a free ride, I've got my work cut out for me:
  • I'm taking my final class of Seminary
  • I'm finishing up my Seminary Internship work
  • I'm assisting a CIU professor revamp his History of World Christianity course
  • I'm preparing for the GRE
  • I'm preparing my PhD application
More on the Fall soon!

My two favorite passions: teaching & theology.  This time a bunch of friends from Systematic Theology class got together for a group project to teach theology to kids.  The result?  THEOLOGY STREET - a parody of "Sesame Street" seminary style.

We will hopefully have the videos up for viewing within a couple weeks, but here is a picture of me and Cookie Monster performing Communion...contextualized with milk and cookies of course.

  • 14 Chapters of Systematic Theology
  • 3 Old Testament Theology Papers
  • 2 Chapters of Theological Methods
  • 2 Theology Papers
  • 1 Greek Paper
  • 1 Book Review
  • 1 Lesson plan on T4T
And those are only the assignments due when "break" is over.   Even though I've taken more hours in the past, this semester has by far been the most difficult.  Please be praying for me that: I am a good steward of my time when it comes to Beth, ministry, and schoolwork; don't let stress get the better of me; and don't sacrifice the quality of my work.
